Intervention Orders

Intervention Orders are commonplace in family law and used to protect parties and children from family violence.

We have extensive experience pursuing intervention orders when necessary to protect you and your children from violence. We also have extensive experience in disproving, removing and revoking intervention orders when they have been sought without merit.

Intervention orders can impact a working with children check and can also have legal implications if a breach is alleged and proved. You should receive legal advice as soon as you have been served with an intervention order and as soon as you have any police involvement.

If you or anybody you know is experiencing family violence you should call 000 if there is a threat to safety and get legal advice quickly thereafter. We can provide referrals to appropriate support services.

Feel free to contact TML Family Law for a free 15 minute initial telephone consultation.
